Two Sisters on a Wintry Paris Photo Shoot: Katie and Melissa
I had so much fun on this afternoon sisters’ photo shoot with this dynamic duo!
Katie was studying abroad in Paris, and when her sister Melissa came to visit her, they decided they needed to get some professional photos of the two of them together.
The idea started off as a Christmas gift for their parents: they wanted to give their mom a framed photo of the two of them. But of course, we took more than just one framable shot!
Katie and Melissa coordinated their winter outfits and showed up looking both cozy and stylish.
Pea coats, dark pants, splashes of red and teal—these two brought the style to our shoot! They started out wearing hats, too, but took them off soon afterward, so we could get a mix of photos.
We started our session at one of my favorite portrait locations in Paris: Place du Trocadero.
After getting some great photos there, we walked down to take some photos by the Seine river. Then we walked right back up to finish off our session at a nearby cafe.
The cafe was the perfect end to this cold afternoon shoot!
Katie and Melissa had a chance to sit under the outdoor heaters and warm up their hands (and stomachs) with coffee, and we got some adorable final photos. When we wrapped up, I left them to savor the rest of their drinks at their leisure!
Katie and Melissa, I’m so glad I got to meet you and take these photos together, and I was thrilled to hear that your mom loved her gift! Hope to see you two back in Paris soon!
