This is one of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken. I love the movement and the way the swarm of seagulls creates a pattern across the water and sky. And I love the contrast of Istanbul homes in the background, more colorful than anything else and yet the most peaceful element of this picture. I think it truly captures a moment, which is something I am always striving to do.
